Today is my lao’s bd…. I wonder if he was a pumpkin reincarnated? Even so, it must have been a bad pumpkin turned good.
I have many friends who are envious of me, that I have such a good ah lao. I’m not sure which part of him they refer to, but I guess I have little or no reason to protest their envy. I remember I used to think that my boyfriend (while we were courting) is the most boring person on earth. He was never an exciting boyfriend. Never did he once come and grab my hand and say, “come, I’ll bring you to some place”. You know, like a surprise kindof thing. Most of the time it was “where should we go huh?”. Till now, we often sit in the car for minutes thinking where we should head to for dinner, etc. Well, what to do? I had to stick to him. Usually boring boyfriends make good husbands. Right? ;)
Boy I am so right! Of cos we have our share of arguments, oh maybe they don’t qualify as arguments, how can arguments be only one side talking?? I think I’m the kind of person who can articulate very well if you ask me about the shortcomings of another, if you ask me to tell you the “long-goings” (opposite of shortcomings mah), my mind will be b l a n k. I am trying very hard to write some of my lao’s strengths…… still trying still trying!..
Argh!

I think the reason why he’s such a nice lao is that, he makes me feel loved. I told a friend that I think I only start to love my lao more only after our marriage. Perhaps it’s cos he makes me love him more and more each day.

Hee, but we can't disagree that your ah lao gets the thumnbs up as far as the hao lao gong scale is concern.
Now, since this is about your ah lao, how about getting him to comment??

Anyway, if as my wife's ah lao I dun love her, who will? :)
Just to add, I have a very lovable wife, so it is very easy to shower her with love. :)
