I went to 推拿 last night and as usual, the tv was on outside. It's not meant for people outside to 看电视, but meant for people inside to 听电视。
It was tuned to Channel U and showing 有话直说。 The topic was something to do with teenagers' addiction to web gaming. Some point in the conversation gave the 推拿师 (tns) a very good opportunity to ask if I am married. I was taken aback cos I thought she would probably have seen my tummy stretch marks from pregnancy.
me: 有啊, 我有一个儿子，两岁。
tns: 哦，我还以为你是没正式结婚的那种。。 嘻嘻。。 前几次我都想问可是跟你不孰。。
me: huh? 什么正式结婚跟没正式结婚？结婚就是正式嘛！
tns: 我还以为你是那种同居的。 因为你的骨骼都没有变，通常生孩子之后骨骼会变。我推过的客户只有你和另外一个没变，其他的都有变。可是你的肉质有变所以知道性生活（有）。
me: huh? 可是你都不知道我的之前和之后（生孩子)你怎么做比较？
tns: 不是之前和之后的问题。是肉质和骨骼的不同。 甚至可以知道你的性生活美不美满。
me: .....
I was tempted to ask whether she knows if I'm happy with my sex life but I held back cos I dont know whether she's comfortable talking about this topic..

whoa, i must remember never go to tui na. scary leh, that a tns can know so much from our body. shudder :s....and whoever said that it is impossible to tell if one is still a virgin or not??
er..I was thinking, if the tns is soooo good as to be able to tell if your sex life is good or not, how come she doesn't know you have given birth? Isn't the signs even more obvious??
well... seems like I was one of the exception.. that my bone structure didnt change.. got to take it with a pinch of salt probably.
Reminds me of my experience. i went to chinese physician with my fren and the tn one looked at her and check her pulse. then he said : "hmm... u had carrot cake."
"wah!! u mean u can tell by listening to the pulse beat?" i was shocked.
then he said: "I can smell la"
er..... irrelevant ??
