Duck Tour

We didnt want to allow fu's birthday weekend to pass just like other weekends, so we signed up for the Duck Tour. $33 per adult (befpre 30% discount for Singapore Citizens and PR) and $2 for toddlers.

I thought it was quite fun. It's a pity that dajie didnt come along due to miscommunications. We especially enjoyed the moment when the ducky went from the land to water.. SPLASH! So salty! I think the bus captain delibrately accelerated so make a big splash. So naughty!

We were on board the duck called Kathrina. The moment we hit the waters, it started to pour, so we didnt have a good view of Singapore's skyline, we had a good time nonetheless. Something new I learnt during the tour: the Esplanade was meant to look like two gigantic red lanterns at night! haha!

Towards the end of the tour, the tour guide had 3 duck whistles to give away. There were more than 3 little ones on board so she posed 3 simple questions..

First question:
"What's the name of the duck you're on board with?"

*I quickly shot up fu's hand*

"Wow! That's very fast! What's your answer?"

"Katherine!"

"YES! Katrina! Congratulations!"

haha.. so malu, but nevermind la hor? shhhh... Here's fu with the whistle :)

Of cos, the other two questions didnt matter. hehe

Sorry, checked the digital camera and the pictures are not nice enough to blog... ok, just one to show that we've really been on the duck tour........ :P
