I hope I’m not turning into a self-absorbed bragging mother… Most of you will find them "no big deal".. but they are definitely big deals to me!

Teacher’s Comment
My mil was all smiley and was telling me one evening that when teacher Irene brought him down after his class the other day, she commented to my mil:

他很...可爱. 全部的老师都喜欢他！

Ky said maybe she tells every parent the same thing.. duh.. what a wet blanket.. nevermind, even so, that doesnt make me less happy ;)

When we were coming out from the lift one night,

fu went: 4! 3! 2! 1!
I exclaimed: WOW! you can count BACKWARDS!?

Cheeky boy?
Most of you would have known that I am no. 3 in my family and that makes me 三姨 (san yi - third aunt) to my nephews and niece. Recently fu had been giving me this shy smile in the car when he turns to me when he goes: san yi....

I thought he was trying to be funny calling me sanyi till one day..
ky said: are you sure he's saying 三姨？ (to fu) what's the weather today?
fu: SUNNY!
ky: what's the weather today?
fu: CLOUDY!
ky: what's the weather today?
fu: RAINY!
me: hehe.. did you teach him that?
ky: no..

hehe.. ky discovered what fu said before me.. I was of cos still very pleased.. :D

Date?
One night while ky was changing fu to his pyjamas,
fu (smilingly): two thousand seven
me: huh? Did you say two thousand seven?
fu: YES! April..
me: haha... (realising he was referring to dates).. April? It's May already bao bei..
fu: April..
me: Mayyy
fu: Apprrriill..

He probably said that from his "stored memory". Well.. maybe he remembers April better cos there were many birthday cakes and goodie packs in April.. He got the current month wrong but well.. doesnt matter.. I'm still the happiest mother.. :)
