Magical kiss

Have you ever wondered why children feel better right after you kiss them after their fall?

It always worked. Whenever fu gets a bump, i'll kiss his bump and ask, "are you better now?". His reply would always be a "yes" without hesitation.

Recently i accidently brushed my elbow against a chinese calendar's metal binder and some of my skin got scratched off. As the metal binder was a little corroded, the would soon became a little inflamed. One night i was lying on bed breastfeeding ting and fu saw the wound.

Fu: mummy what happened?
Me: mummy's skin got scratched by the calendar. It's so painful now, can you kiss it for me?
Fu: ok. *gives a long, gentle kiss directly on the wound*

It seriously seriously felt devoid of pain. What a magical kiss it was.
