where have we been?

where else? you guessed it!

Must be pasir ris park lah, east coast park lah, zoo lah. The only new place we'd been to was the Discovery Center and the Army Museum. We've been avoiding the one of our favourite haunts, The Changi Airport, due to H1N1.

If you have not already gotten sick of my pictures, I've shared them in my facebook and here're the links (click on the pictures):

9 May 09 - Pasir Ris Park

It was meant to be a cycling outing but we ended up at the playground after alot alot of whining from fu. Fu just couldnt go fast enough to catch up with us on his old hand-me-down bike with training wheels. It didnt help when ky was, in my opinion, overly strict and unsympathetic to him. It was realy hot and it was really a lot harder for him to paddle the same distance compared to us on the adult bikes. Nonetheless, we had a great time at the park!

24 May 09 - Cold Storage Kids Run

6 Jun 09 - The Discovery Center and The Army Museum

We went to the Discovery Center for the first time. It's most likely our last time as well. Total crap. The captions in my pictures will tell you why. We hopped over to the Army museum next door. It's a pity that fu was too timid for the shows which were depicting war and was too loud and dark for his little heart. The highlight of the trip has got to be the mini "SOC" outside the army museum. Ky smilingly told me that "this is the SOC." I was like, wth is SOC? I learnt something, it's the standard obstacle course. Sorry we didnt take any pictures from the army museum onwards.

13 Jun 09 - East Coast Park
Barely having settled down, ting repeated gestured to me that she needed to pee. I asked her to go ahead as she had diapers on (paiseh lah.. i know this is quite uncalled for but I was just being lazy) but she insisted that I take off her diapers. Eventually I did help her and brought her only to the nearest tree to "mark her territory". When she squated, she went "ng ng" for 1 second and something fell off.. I was almost laughing my head off and I thought to myself, "tsk tsk.. dont own pet also need to pick feaces up from the grass!"

15 Jun 09 - The Singapore Zoo
"Daddy! It's daytime quick we must wake up!"

Fu was very excited this morning when he woke cos we told him last night that we'd be going to the zoo today and he can take the TRAM! You see, we're FOZ and we're only entitled to free tram rides on weekdays. So on our previous visits to the zoo, even when fu begged us to let him take the tram we didnt. He was the happiest boy on earth today!
