We had the much missed full attendance reunion lunch at mum's which erjie had blogged about (sorry cant link now as blogging from mobile). Then went to mil's for second reunion dinner (we had early reunion dinner on fri with mushroom and xl as mushroom was out on biz trip on cny week. Dont u simply h*te those angmohs who have no respect for CNY?!).
Previous years, i would be knocked out by the time we reached home and i had often procrastinated the packing of angbao money to the next morning. This year, I enthusiatically got up after ting fell asleep to do the packing. I felt very happy slipping the notes in each pack, more so this year cos i finally get to give them to my nephews and it's my first to johann who's already 2.5yo!
So the rest of the CNY visiting routine followed which i wont blog about so u wont fall asleep.
At the end of chu er, i was thinking in my head while on our way home from ky's aunt's place, "hey.. I really enjoyed this cny!" I believe the main reason is the true reunion of my family. I had blogged in one of my previous chinese new year entries when i knew erjie wont be returning that 每逢佳节倍思亲。 Over the years, we have somehow gotten used to the half reunion, albeit reluctantly. So this year, I thought the training from previous separations had toughened me so I was amazed at the level of completeness felt. I really hope we'll be able to do so every year.
(sorry i did not take any pictures over cny, please check my sisters' blog. If u hadnt noticed, I've already included their link at the bottom left of my blog)
Oh yah, as my old saying goes, cruise pictures will be posted when they are posted :P zoetoh already posted some though :)

I love you, sissy! This entry means something to me! This year's CNY is also very extraordinary for us, I mean, it ought to be this way every year but somehow it didn't happen. I certainly cherish and value the spirit of family togetherness after living some 450km away for more than 3 years, be it CNY or not. The happiness and satisfaction of the completeness felt this year has already set me looking forward to the next CNY!
