Ting was still rousing from her afternoon nap when I stole a glance at her after work this evening. With her eyes half opened, she greeted me with the following..

Ting: mum, you know today S is not my friend, she's A's friend.
Me: ohhh... what happened? Was she angry with you?
Ting: *shrugged her shoulders* but you know mum, 昨天 S 是我的朋友…
Me: oh so some days she's your friend and some days she's not?
Ting: *nodded with lips pouted*
Me: so who did you play with today?
Ting: S.
